brother chiodo

The family name has changed back to Llawcae, now that Benjamin and Camrin have broken up. Her last name is still Long, but it is just easier this way.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Camrin just kept getting promoted this weekOn Monday, they donated 1826 dollars toward the University, getting us started on the way to that college It wasnapos;t much, but they were able to buy some couches and end tables and that donated the right amount, if not a little more. Greg didnapos;t get promoted, but he DID meet Ivy Copur (the teenager) at work and he got his first kiss out of her. He has tried to go steady with her, but she keeps saying no.
Camrin met Brandon Lillard at work and they are currently engaged. They will be getting married next week, as they had no time to get married this week.
And Vincent became a teenager. He has the Romance aspiration, which will be fun, and also makes him my first Romance sim, so far, although Brandon is also a Romance sim...argh. Vincent doesnapos;t have a potential partner yet, because he grew up early in the morning on Monday, so he wonapos;t start school until the next rotation, which wonapos;t take tooo long...hopefully.
Vincent and Craig became friends ANDhave almost maxed out their logic, so we will have two or three careers unlocked in Science soon, as Greg is also almost maxed out on his logic skill. Other than what is mentioned above, nothing really happened, although I DIDhave Brandon and Camrin try for a baby and Iheard a LULLABYE
I miss Tobi.
Been missing him a lot the past few days.
I cant remember where I was the other day, but I remember thinking - man, Tobi is actually gone, like, iapos;m never gonna see him again.
I was walking up the drive the other day aswell, and I remember being really sad cos the fence has all been ripped down now, and cos Tobi didnt jump up at the door when we got to it.
My aunt is getting a new wee puppy tomorrow, I said iapos;d dog sit if they needed too. Wont get as attached haha. Iapos;m really wanting another dog but for several reasons I wont. Like, I dont wanna replace Tobi, and cos of the hours me and my dad work, it would be in the house itself a lot. Plus, sack going through that again when they get put down.
*sigh*
I want my dog back please.
I went there with two other people.
In conversation with Jonas Hershberger, the proprietor of one of the stores, I discussed such thing as the origin of his surname. It means (of) "Deer Hill," in German.
I got to mentioning something that Linda Baker Morton (Arnoldapos;s daughter) had found out two years ago. She told me that our great-great-grandfather had been born "Peter Becker," at Petersberg, Germany, near Zweibruecken.
Some of my relatives seemed to have a connection at Petersburg, Iowa, near Dubuque, and very close to the village of New Vienna. I think that town was probably named after th Petersberg, with a slightly different spelling, in Germany.
Mr. Hershberger, to my surprise, was very familiar with Petersburg, Iowa. He mentioned an old saying, that the most expensive land in that part of Iowa, was that from which one could see the steeple of the Petersburg church.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
That reminded me of the old English saying, that a "Cockney" was a person who was born "within the sound of Bow Bells," that is, "in the part of London from which one could hear the bells of St. Mary Le Bow Church."
Curiously, thereapos;s a North Dakota village named "Bow Bells." Itapos;s the birthplace of Lute Olson, who was the basketball coach at the University of Iowa, until he went to coach at Arizona.
country land promise song
Entrepreneurs as a group rank high in confidence. They are true believers in what they are doing and they see the path to success. And some can achieve this success without help from anyone outside their organization.
Some are extraordinarily talented or smart or focused. Others have hired well and have within their organization all of the competencies the organization requires to be successful under existing circumstances.
On the other hand, circumstances can change, and existing competencies cannot address the new circumstances. If such is the case, the wily entrepreneur must become better educated quickly, must hire new people with new areas of expertise or must look outside for consultants. To do nothing invites disaster.
My guess is that if a poll was taken among entrepreneurs, consultants would rank right there with bankers and politicians. They are a fact of life, and I might have to deal with them, but I don't have to like them. It has been said that consultants "borrow your watch to tell you what time it is."
I can't argue with that view as a broad indictment. There are many consultants that do not add value, that make recommendations and then disappear, and that leave a business more in disarray than in an improved state. Those folks just don't get it They don't get what entrepreneurs are going through emotionally, they don't have the emotional intelligence to get invested in what they are doing in a client's business. They remain detached from what is really going on.
I understand why many entrepreneurs shy away from hiring consultants, even when they need one badly.
So, what should an entrepreneur do? Do your homework. Search for a consultant that has experience in the area that requires work in your business. If you are not sure what is wrong, invite several different consultants in to talk. You can tell by their questions to you if they are "peeling the onion", digging deep to see the root cause of your problems.
Once you narrow it down to two or three, get written proposals and see how accountable they hold themselves for results. See if they stick around to implement their recommendations. See if they have clear cut objectives. See if you connect with them, and if they connect with you. Then choose.
Your job is to provide the information and they access the consultant needs and more importantly, to hold the consultant accountable for providing what has been promised. Even this year, I had an experience with an internet consultant that was frustrating and expensive. The terms of the contract were clear in my mind (and I am a lawyer), but in the end I got much less than what I thought I had paid for. I hired a consultant because i had no time to think about, much less handle my internet marketing, and I thought I bought a full-service solution to the problem. Boy, was I wrong.
So, be careful, but do not fail to act. Do not refuse to seek help for fear of choosing wrong. Act and choose wisely. And you will derive the benefit you desire.
Stole this from my wife:
Go to urbandictionary.com and type in your answer to each question in the search box, then write the FIRST MOST AMUSING OR STRANGE definition it gives you.
1.Your name: Jake
A extremely long penis of at least fourteen inches.
2. Your age: 42
According to Douglas Adams and his Hitchhikerapos;s Guide to the Galaxy, 42 is the ultimate answer to life, the universe and everything. Apparently the answer is 6 times 9.
6 x 9 = 42 in base 13, rather than base 10.
In base 10, 6 x 9 = 54.
4 times 13 = 52, means you have 2 left. So, 42 = 54 in base 13.
3. One of your friends: Jay
To throw a girly hissy fit over a small matter.
4. What should you be doing? Sleeping
When you close your eyes and think of perverted things, which will never actually happen.
5. Your favourite colour: Cobalt
The coolest ex-otter in the world
6. Your birthplace: Oslo
The capital of Sweden, where polar bears, goat cheese,and vikings are born.
7. Last person you talked to: Synn
Synn isnapos;t defined yet.
8. Last thing you had to drink: Dr Pepper
Thereapos;s no period in Dr Pepper
9. Your nickname: Ape
Mad - Crazey - insanely violent -
camping on the beach ma
Youapos;d think I was high, or Iapos;d just come back from a night out, right? Wrong. I was in work at 6am this morning, and then I had to go for a sleep afterwards because I felt that sick when I finished. So why the hell do I suddenly feel like the duracel bunny? Its so peculiar and it makes me wish Iapos;d actually gone out for Esseapos;s birthday now :(.
I really didnapos;t feel great earlier on, I begrudged showering and getting dressed, in all honesty so there was no way I was going into town feeling like that. I was really looking forward to drinking with Charlotte, aswell... Badtimes. Weapos;re going out next weekend anyway though, so thatapos;ll make me loads happy:D
This journal is so random and unplanned, it probably makes for awful, awful reading
Iapos;m feeling so alone in this big town,
all by myself with no one else,
and iapos;m trying to get up but everything else has me down,
and iapos;m not feeling to well,
this whole situation has mad me a little uneasy,
iapos;ve never been in this position before,
iapos;m not going to complain because i love every minute of it,
and no one else has made me feel quite like this.
my world nearly haults,
when our lips collide,
youapos;re the light that guide me,
these cold and dark nights,
iapos;ve been meaning to thank you,
but i havenapos;t had the guts to,
and anyday that we donapos;t speak,
i look up at the sky,
and down at the ground,
and itall justfeels so bleak.
all those freezing cold nights,
when i shiver under the covers,
your words warm my heart,
and i know iapos;ll make it through another day,
i sit back and think by myself,
this is the best feeling,
the best feeling iapos;ve ever felt.
